SNHU Paul LeBlanc Hall Reheat Conversion
Southern New Hampshire University · Manchester, NH · Spring to summer 2026
We converted the refrigerant-based reheat coils in Paul LeBlanc Hall’s general exhaust energy recovery units from hot gas reheat to hydronic hot water reheat, with the building in use and the work fitted around SNHU’s summer programs.

The project
Paul LeBlanc Hall is home to SNHU’s Center for Engineering. Its general exhaust energy recovery units used refrigerant-based hot gas reheat. Converting them to hydronic hot water reheat was about better system reliability.
How we did it
The building stayed occupied and the schedule was tight, so we built the plan around the university’s summer programs and staged every startup and shutdown with university staff.
On the roof we brought existing roofing and pipe-support conditions up to current practice and added pipe supports, detailed in our own shop drawing, to protect the new piping from falling ice. To support the new design, we managed the programming of the new BAS sequence of operations.
